We’re going to move pre-round setup polls into the forums so we can vote and discuss in the same place.
Note: Final results will be based on the vote tallies but may not necessarily reflect every winning option. Tied results will be decided on a case by case basis.
You only have to vote about the options you care about. Some polls have an option labeled as “other”. If you choose this, please also post a comment specifying your choice.

Morale Formula
Attacking another empire reduces your available Morale. When your empire is out of Morale you can no longer attack or cast offensive spells and operations. This setting affects how Morale cost is calculated.
Classic - Based on differences in planet count between empires
Modern - Based on differences in networth and planet count between empires and their families
Hardcore - Attacks do not cost morale

@I_like_pie
the voting for a new galaxy set up is cool, but in a collective sense people are stupid
currently, if we say that in a 160x160 galaxy, where each node has a 5% chance of being a system, we’re looking at 1280 systems
min planets per system = 15, max planets per system = 23, so we’ll call the average 19
that’s 24320 planets
currently 27 players are signed up, but let’s assume every even marginally active player currently in MW ends up playing, that’s, very generously, 45 players
the current length of round is being voted at 56 days
Assuming that every single player maxes out their expos every single day of the round
and never misses a single one
it would take 67.5 days to explore all the planets
I have already played in a hard core gala with 300 of the best players ever, I have like no interest in playing in a HC gala with 30 people at the start, and 7 people at the end.
I would like everyone to play, I really wasn’t expecting my idea to go this far. I expected it to end when someone said that it was shit when I first proposed it in think tank haha
Yeah, people get excited and run with things.
That is why you want to get all the kinks worked out before hand when you do something as awesome as trying to set up a round.
Because you avoid stupid shit like the possibility of MW being HC.
