Networth vs Size

Orion smoking nothing drinking last night yes

This round again shows why size is the measure for the win… we actually opped down our own attackers science to reduce NW so we could take more planets and invested in defense so we could keep them… really nobody cares for an eor jump :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Size always lol, nw is used for taking planets, eor jumps are just for show. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Surely, some do. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think what you mean to say is “My family and I didn’t care for an eor jump.”

And neither did any of the other fams in the race except for Sols fam - I’m pretty sure Sol’s fam, didn’t care for the eor nw, but agree size is the win measure )hence their effort to stay in front).
The question in your poll is about the measure of skills, and I’m discussing what determines the round winner.
I’d be sursrised if someone eels NW determines the real winner… if anyone feels that: please let me know, I’d like to know why you think that

Methano: definitely NW

Size is what we were most interested in and was our main focus.
We did a jump as we thought we had a decent shot at getting both size and nw.

Over all 31 was the dominant family this round. We had a shot at taking the final rankings as we didn’t have a big war.

If it wasn’t for 30 I think we probably would have stayed ahead on pcount but 31 did really well to catch us regardless and deserved the win.

:joy: fair enough

I agree with this.

That would be an illegal alliance, wouldn’t it?

Yes, both NW and size should skill, no doubt about that. But what determines who won the round? Size.

I keep with the comparison to a football (US: soccer) match. NW is like ball possession, succesful passes, shots fire at the goal of the opponent etc. It’s definitely a strong indicator of the strength of the team. But in the end it does not reflect who won the match. Goals do.

Size = goals scored.

Yeah but when your team has 12 active members and the other team has 4 and no goalie, goals are not a measure of skill. I don’t think this question can ever really be answered other than the perception of the community deciding who was the best.

Maybe pie is the best because he doesn’t Play? Maybe we are all losers for being slave to IC and having to log on each hour! I don’t know :v:t2:

Fair point - but that will go for both NW and size. 12 active players will have so much more infra momentum, they will greatly outperform the other team with 4 players and no goalie in networth as well  Size would still be the measure for who wins.
Of course you have great teams versus poor teams sometimes, that doesn’t change how to measure the winner.

indeedo

I am sure I used to think NW was the most important when I played ‘back in the day’ but I now can see that size is as important. Although I have noticed that if you click on rankings it defaults to showing it ranked by NW!

size has always won rounds… nw is a important factor yes… but doesnt give you the win

Yeah, I think it was always best to win both!
