Hello there folks, its your friendly neighborhood MTG-Dad here. I have talked with some folks, and ream some posts, and not only will I continue doing the PvC, but I wanted to bring back the EOR awards.

SO here is how this will work. I will post the categories and then tally the votes at the end. I will tally the vote in 5 days times. If you would like to write a brief reason as to why you think then please do so

  1. Best family- not who had the highest rank, or the biggest jump, or the most planets, what was the best all round family

  2. Best war- What was the deciding war all round? how did it go down?

3.Best banker- who gave the most to their family, who was the best.

  1. Best attacker, not who was the biggest but who was truly the best attacker all round

5.Best leader- who made the best decisions, who set their family up for the win?

6.Worst decision- what was the biggest blunder, what decision cost a family the most?

Im going to start with 6 this round and see how we look after the 5 days. So what do you think? Whats your vote?

No one did anything remarkable, so Iā€™m giving it to the size winners - 6231.

6231 vs 6237 - Pretty even war for first 4ish days, until half 6237 got tired of playing ping pong. Congrats on 6231 for their tenacity.

Long Dong Silver 6237 (SunTzu) - CF banker at 30m a tick, retake machine, super active. Perfect round.

Was coming for a long time, could have gone both ways for a long time, but the attackers in my fam (37) were more patient in the end, and finished the job.

Plenty, but all in all, I think it was the huge number of NAPā€™s all fams had during mid/end round.

thanks for the nominate Orion! id have to vote for myself on this, joining a family randomly (with the cheaters after they got removed) assuming leadership, drafting too old mates back and then taking the fam to 4th starting 3-4 days later than everyone else. Surely we must win all the awards going :stuck_out_tongue:

ME, going attacker race, when i have no time to attack. :P, Also, i lost 8000 transports to a counter attack by Zero because i didnā€™t recall my army quickly enoughā€¦ stupid Ipad. that sucked hard.

  1. best family: 6236 They had a big comeback and shot their way up to 4th place EOR.

  2. best war: 6231 vs 6237 I donā€™t know what happened there, wasnā€™t very interesting as it felt kinda one sided but, still really good.

  4. best attacker: all of 31ā€™s attackers are beast but I gotta give this one to UB40ā€¦ heā€™s not necessarily the ā€œbestā€ but when he huntsā€¦he hunts.

  5. Best leader: Iā€™d have to give that one to 32. Hadnā€™t lead a fam since 2013 and did a pretty good job considering we finished 5th in sizeā€¦

  6. Worst Decision: I think for me was not being more aggressive.

best ressourcer: gotta give that to Aucoin of family 32. For some reason he always had a lot of ressie.

  1. best family: 6231 - fought the big battles and still came out on top. Also had a higher nw than final result a while before EOR during war. Also, us :stuck_out_tongue: (36) ā€¦ held our own for the most part against considerably bigger opposition after many of the family joined late in the round.
  2. best banker: canā€™t say, but probably Long Dong or I_hump_pie
  3. best attacker: Bubblecake - doesnā€™t sleep and is extremely relentless. Weā€™d have probably gained planets on 30 if he wasnā€™t in the fam. Also, the 31 attackers - looked very well coordinated from the outside and took an impressive amount of planets on a couple of occasions in a very short time frame.
  4. best resourcer: No idea
  5. worst leader: No idea
  6. best war: 6231 vs 6237

Thx for the nominations for best ressies. Getting highest production was very much a team effort though. @Picklearmy built me 440k MF at 98% cons and I did a return built at 97% cons. I still have sore hands of triggering 412 planet takeovers one by one in a single tick to reduce portal cost and start 412 portals in one tick. Including infra and fleet building thatā€™s over 1500 clicks in one hourā€¦ And yes, this was daily practice with Me, @Mint, @Picklearmy as central ressie builders.

Iā€™d just like to make it clear nobody in fam 6236 currently had anything to do with that. In fact most of us (myself and leader included) joined late in the round after not playing for 15 yearsā€¦ and a lot of the fam to this day donā€™t even know that was a thing as they donā€™t read the forum :slight_smile:

Well, I built 1.83m figs with 2% con by accident mid round so that was a nice blunder getting to cancel that order and eat those ressies :slight_smile:

It was not my best moment for sure. O thought I was kidding, I kept reassuring him it wasnā€™t a joke. My first round back I was not so used to the max build buttons so I clicked it trying to highlight the numbers to make sure I was seeing I could build 1.83m figs correctly. I was seeing it correct and sent a joking msg then a few minutes later returned to build 40k soldiers. Those are likely the most expensive 40k soldiers ever built in IC history.
