Morale Formula

Attacking another empire reduces your available Morale. When your empire is out of Morale you can no longer attack or cast offensive spells and operations. This setting affects how Morale cost is calculated.

  • Hardcore - Attacks do not cost morale

Wouldn’t it be nice to play with 10 families of 5 members each? More families would mean more conflict and possibilities to recover from wars, leveling the playing field a bit more.

From the Balius, MW and SN round i’ve played so far I liked the Balius setup the most so maybe Pollux is on to something.

I voted classic start resources and 6 weeks. However, I think these are very tightly connected.
Increase the number of start resources means a decrease in round length in my opinion.

100x starting ressies = basically skip ephase, that will be over so fast then. agression will start much sooner, and that results in a winner-decision much sooner.

True Hala, maybe it would be better if we vote on predefined seeds. Since now we could get a round that nobody voted for.

We never actually vote on starting eships, they are 0 unless someone requests a poll like this in the replies. The 100x etc. Only applies to gold, food, iron, octarine and endurium.

ok, so let’s have a round with 100x starting resources, 16+ eships on each, and make it lasts 6 weeks… That’ll be 3 boring weeks at the end lol…

Yeah 100x on 6 weeks is boring for 70% of the time with or without the 2 day eship boost, hence why I suggested 50x on a 5 weeks with a 2 day eship boost. The 50x should offset the resources enough to not overkill quick econ and not take forever to start the round and never finish exploring.

There’s no reason why we can’t start now. Players are free to set up new polls on the fly, as @Balius has done here. The 100x e-ship poll is perfectly valid if enough players want it.

I will take these e-ship poll results into consideration.
