I think in order for the galaxy to last “forever”, exploring to new systems needs to take longer or be more difficult. The galaxy is HUGE but still, I think in a few months players will be able to spread across it with ease.
I think we either need systems to be even further spread out, or make it so it takes even longer to reach those systems( like a system that is 2 tics away now, takes 20 tics).
Another option I think is make exploration costs much much higher…perhaps 10 fold or more.

You could make planets 4 or 5 times larger taking longer to just half build, limit expos per day?

That would just drastically reduce OB cost right? I don’t think that will slow down expo rate or spread
Takes me 160 ticks to the corner… I think that’s plenty long lol
if open map my sreen freeze have to leave ic to get back to other page
