Question @I_like_pie. If this is truly a never-ending galaxy, isn’t it likely that at some point only one person will own the entirety of the galaxy? At which point, why would it continue?

And why is it called Test instead of Infinitum, which is a way cooler name?
Test is Latin for Infinitum, I think

It’s “Test” to make clear that this specific galaxy isn’t the one that’s going to be opened to the public, but a prototype. 
This also does mean that it will be closed/deleted once the real one opens, and the galaxy settings may be different depending on the feedback that you all provide.

The point here is to test it, not to provide a fair competition. That’s one of the reasons it’s called “Test”.
Everything is going to be deleted too at some point.
There are teams. I thought it was solo play as well until someone suddenly appeared in my family.
I saw that too I think that was a mistake on my end. We can adjust for it if necessary, or even pair some of you up if you want.
