HAHAHA. Dem NAP Breaks YO

*Modern game.
None of you play with anything that resembles the old C.O.H.
Banker raiding during war was considered as low as it got.
That is all you guys do.
We even use a program to help make is so horrible players can do it.

You canceled a nap because you wanted to prove you were “The big man” and because you were pissed I called you out for 3v1’in one fucking guy.

100% your anger and arrogance.
“Lion”.

Whatever, you will ignore this too, because you have to admit something about yourself.

Never seen you do that a single time yet.

Damnnnnn I was wrong then @Hala u did knowingly break the nap.

Reasons are a plenty. But when u sign an agreement with enemies. I’m sure u didnt sign it and just instantly like them?? Impossible. No one does. But the fact u signed it means u agreed to something? Otherwise u wouldn’t sign a nap instead u would keep warring. The flipside is u napped so u can break it later In revenge. I wont put u in that category @Hala. This seems spur of the moment probably 3 days out planning. But damn u would risk ur reputation for a nap break is kinda shocking only cause uve always been the reasonable type. U were a mod werent u?

@I_like_pie it’s not a me thing. I’m just telling u what will balance the ua out. Get rid of it. Why have a market with less than 100 players anyways. Let the families fund themselves or wait a couple ticks in order to do so. It’s common sense?

I haven’t funded anyone shit in 500 + ticks.
I have 180 planets?

I made my own jumps.
How the hell could I afford their fleets?

I AM TINY!

Jesus.

@HellRaizeR, it is neither common sense nor obvious. It’s your suggestion, and one of several viable options.

I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, I am saying that it isn’t a magic bullet or even the best use of my dev time right now compared to other things I’m working on.

As for the @Hala thing, I have to be very careful about what I say because I am not involved, but this is at least the 3rd person now that I’ve seen present a reasonable argument as to why the NAP was voided.

See Pickle’s earlier comment about “other factors”: is it not possible that the NAP was deemed invalid after one side carried out their aggression through a 3rd party?

Again, I’m not saying that anything in particular was justified, but rather that there may be a reasonable explanation for why some people are surprised that players with good reputations might do something seemingly out of character.

Also, whether or not he was a mod is irrelevant. It is a common misconception that mods were ever held to a different standard of play and/or role-play within the game universe. They have always been free to play like everybody else, and even free to break NAPs if they want. NAP-breaking isn’t a rule violation.

I played with the people that would play with me.

My “friends” ran off to play with someone who I was definitely having a major issue with.
An honor issue.
I was exceedingly vocal about @Airwing make a non-leader, hidden nap in my family the previous round.

You chose him and left me to find whoever I could.
I joined the first group that asked, Swagga and Rene are nice guys, sure I allied them. :woman_shrugging:t2:

I made (and sent) this beauty before last round ended.

We would have enforced honor by sheer might.
Likely improved it.

It would have set game development back at least another round.

Pie is right.

This needed to happen.

Wait a second!

That was the Horde I did not lead the damn Horde.

I was in it, ask anyone - I fucking hate leading.

@HellRaizeR - you’re missing my point here.

They funded a non-involved, non-NAP’d fam to do their dirty work for them. I consider that aggression through a third party, and the client is just as guilty of the crime as the executor.
This is grounds to void the NAP, and so we did.

If what Darrk says is true, he got stuck in the middle. If that’s the case, I’m sorry for that Darrk.

Also, this would only make things worse. If you can actually NAP-protect yourself, then the whole fing war would get fought through other fams. People would save up tremendous amounts, fund that to a small fam, they beat up someone terribly, then you cancel and clean up the bits and pieces.

UA → fuzzy fights with all kinds of fams involved → Market aiding. This is where the problem is now.

Apology 100% accepted!
This is why I am against a market ticker too.

I play that thing so bloody much you guys would freak out. I am tempted to ask Pie to release my market data.
I am sure I have funded, and taken from everyone.

Just 'cause everyone says “the market is dead”, I assure you - its is very much alive.
It dosn’t move as fast as it used to - but it is a living breathing thing.

It follows the same exact principals it used to.

Except for food.

Lol, you guys have just fucked up food.
That works a completely different way now.

It’s funny you mention this, I’ve been looking at our record keeping lately. There’s a lot of historical data that I think players don’t realize we have.

For example, the earliest market transaction we have is Horfen selling 30 food to Elsa in MW54 on tick 179, though at the time it wasn’t known who is in on the other side of any transaction.

It is possible to show market history and patterns for every empire since MW54. Pretty crazy, right?

Makes sense.
The powers that be always seemed to have a way to track down shady market deals.
It seemed one of the few things that could be really enforced.

Shit man I just realized I’m getting my threads crossed. I thought this was the MW UA thread. :grimacing:

Sorry about that, I’ll step out and let you all get back to it.

The one thing I’ll leave on though, is that it’s never too late to work on diplo. Even during war, you don’t necessarily have to hate your enemy.

Good luck everybody.

This was about 12 hours ago.

Obviously we are joking around a bit, but its not like he wouldn’t have bought it.

@Lord_Pickle and I paying for eachothers SOR stuff - Early Day 4.

Because he always has cash (yours @Hala) , and I always have res.
Some people are just fucking good at what they do.

I prolly bought half that res from @Pwvet and didn’t even know it.

:woman_shrugging:t2:

Haha, noob.

@Hala its pretty straightforward

You were napped with certain families. Those certain families aided another family not napped to OP ur savings (no agreements broken as ua allowed)

  • then u napped those said families again. I’m hoping not with the Hope’s of breaking the nap. I mean it might as well be that, since ur saying point 1 ( funding 3rd party) was crossing the line.

  • eor war with those said fams were coming and u break said agreement due to the reason u didnt like they used a 3rd party.

To summarize.

U made an agreement
U didnt like they did a ua to fund and OP u before
U broke an agreement (nap)

Breaking a nap isnt illegal but u cant use the funding thing as a reason? That’s part of the game and its allowed this round. Frustrating yes but the galaxy was also frustrated with u guys apparently. More friends vs u guys I assume (I left a while ago).

So to be technical nap breaking is also allowed so nothing technically wrong has been done other than breaking the holy covenant of a nap.

Wether u like it or not. Ur a nap breaker. Every nap breaker throughout ic history has had there reasons but your reasons by far is one of the weaker ones. This wasnt worth it and u will realize it soon.

I agree. It is straightforward.
A and B agreed not to attack eachter. A pays C to attack B instead.
If C just attacked B, no problem. But instead, it’s A’s fund attacking B.

Getting a gun for hire is the same as wielding it yourself.

If you don’t agree, don’t - honestly, I couldn’t care less.

You see I don’t take orders from people.
I don’t look all starry eyed up someone elses to tell me their ideas are mine.

That is to be expected, I have never seen you read more than 5 lines back in chat.

Let alone a thread like this one with so many wordy words.
Go ask your superfriends what you should say, they will tell you.

I (on the other hand) don’t even need to talk to them - they talk through you.

You are so good at following orders, I can’t even be mad at you.

Your name stays.

shouldt u add yours, WS and swagga’s name to that list now too? i applaud you for joining the ranks of the unholy  the perfect shitstorm and i am Captain turd  W00000t  haha

@Airwing Lol, not bad not bad.

I don’t take orders from you either. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
