Any musicians out there?

I’ve been getting back into guitar lately, even thinking about writing some songs for IC. :stuck_out_tongue: The ballad of the droid and the ravine perhaps. :thinking:

Do any of you dabble in music at all? I know some of you mentioned as much in the hobbies thread. There’s got to be more of us out there. :slight_smile:

Here, all my life. Pie, if you record some songs for IC, I’ll polish them up for you in my project studio, as mixing is also something I do.

Thanks @audiodef! I’ve started getting into mixing too but it’s pretty overwhelming. Even just knowing how loud something should be is surprisingly tricky.

@Airwing what instrument(s)? Do you have any recordings we can hear? :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Yeah, there’s a lot to consider with mixing, not the least of which is one of my pet peeves, the term “mixing and mastering.” They’re different stages of production and are different specialties. There are many engineers who do both, but they wear totally different hats for each profession.

Anyway… :slight_smile: Yes, if musicians here want some mixing done, hit me up. It’ll be fun. All I ask is that the recordings are unprocessed in any way.

yeah i think i am spotify too, with a song i made for my moms 60th birthday in 3 days :stuck_out_tongue: . but its down i missed a payment it seems … gotta fix that

so i came up today, ordered a pack of 100 guitar picks and ended up getting 102. score!

the downside is, of course, that i only know this because i actually wasted my time counting them :neutral_face:
