Poll or a discussion is the same thing. Your gonna vote in a poll and then discuss it afterwards. Yes?
With these polls, Pie gives one or two choices. My post was to discuss what people are interested in, what people wanted in the next round and do my best to give them that Galaxy.
it was never gonna be “kingray decided and that’s what we are going with” it was gonna be Pie saying, “here is the round Kingray came up with, is everyone fine with this or what changes would they like to see”.
he could even set up a poll with my settings and an alternative setting to see what people would want more.
After it’s all argued about, at the end of the day, it is still up to pie, what he wants to do. I just gave him one idea for a milestone number, he does not need to go with it.
Then its a lack of communication, or me missing all that, because “I never saw this, and only saw: there will be no poll, and what King says will be the settings”.
Hell, when I brought that up, Rawrr went quoting you saying there will be no poll and that’s that.
That just came across all wrong to me.

What Hala said - it’s not necessarily just about what I think or want but enabling an area for people to vote on settings; it’s really not that difficult and clears things up both visibility-wise and transparency-wise.
@Hala these were my words…it’s not a LACK OF communication but rather a MISUNDERSTANDING of what was communicated. There was communication. Just not in a form that was very clear
I’ve said before, this post served as a round set up post which is why there was no poll for voting…
For the umpteenth time I have already asked pie to put up a poll, which I am hoping that he will, to appease your worries on a player taking the round setup into his own hands. I have acknowledge it would have been better to just do a boring old poll and have a boring old round with a boring old Map (after I has asked SUV to make the map again after he didn’t want to, granted on his own volition). Was just tryna be helpful but I won’t make that mistake again.
I can understand clearly what he said, I’m not one of those people who automatically assumes the negative from a situation…and don’t take anything he said in a bad light.

A player vote usually just makes things worse. I know in the past some settings the community voted for did not mesh with other settings. It would be best if a competent person or group of people just came up with the rounds.
I recommend maybe a few weeks before the next round ends, we start coming up with ideas for the next round in the forum, not in fam chats or wherever this current setup was concocted. And we vote on full ideas for rounds, not a bunch of individual settings.
The thing that irks me is the amount of down time between rounds. We know exactly when one round ends. Why not have the next round figured out and ready to be deployed when the last one ends? It seems like we wait forever for the galaxy to be made and once it is created there is hardly any time to organize and get people in the galaxy. I know Pie has made a custom galaxy for me in like 10 minutes. I don’t think this is an issue of anyone not having enough time, just poor planning, and we don’t even need to rely on Pie for 99% of it.

This current setup was not made in any fam chats 
was literally me and soul based on input from the community from this very post you commented on 
… I do agree with your idea, and that’s what I tried to do and to be fair to me, through EVERY step I asked soul to create a poll…I only did what they allowed me to. If I overstepped I apologize again to everyone, if I made anyone feel left out I also apologize…

Yea I think it was you and Soul and Soul was talking it over with his fam? I know we saw screenshots of the round set up being discussed in his fam chat.
Either way with what I know of the next round set up it will likely be what I would have voted for anyway.

Not too long ago a lot of us agreed that we should had 4-7 days between rounds to relax and vote
I missed that but I see where that can make sense. I guess this last round was so boring that most of it felt like down time already, and just eager to get into it.
