An Old Player Returning

Hello guys! I used to play this game about 12-13 years ago. I was randomly thinking about the fun I had playing back then (I believe I stuck with the Pinwheel Galaxy) and wanted to look up the game and see if it was still around. Lo and behold it is! I’m sure the game has changed at least a little since then, so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for some decent guides and strats.

I’d also like to know if any of the older players know where I can find super old content. I remember a poster by the name of The Almighty Dollar that used to post Pokemon parodies that I found quite hilarious that I’d like to browse through again.

Thanks for the Help!

P.S. sorry if this isn’t posted in the correct area!

Hi @SomethingWitty! Here are some useful links:

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask in the #support:questions forum or the #galactic-watercooler:strategy forum for strategic-specific discussion.

Also, feel free to tell us a little more about yourself! Were you more into attacking or banking? What do you like to do outside of IC?

Welcome back!

Welcome back! It’s nice to PW guys returning. Makes for much easier targets

I was mainly a banker. I was in middle/high school when I played, so I had to juggle school, sports, etc. and I felt that banking made it a bit easier. I finished decently a few times, most memorable was the Beer Family of Pinwheel. I believe I finished top 15 planet size and top 50-75 economy. I’d probably stick with banking again to be honest, as I remember the times when I played attacker being super stressful for some reason, trying to perfectly time attacks, running into laser traps, etc.

Outside of gaming, I enjoy playing pool (billiards), reading (books and current events), and Texas Hold 'Em. I’m looking to apply to my Alma Mater for a Master’s in either Teaching, History, or Public History after I take the GRE (probably in April).
