A limited play testing for a new game set in a virtual world was about to begin. A game set around life ,but with violence, fun, and everything else you could think of. The Publisher invited a limited number of players to partake in the beta test. The game called NewLife was trending really high and everyone wanted to get their hands on the beta key.

One of the developers had something up his sleeve and hand picked a few others to cause some havoc for the others selected for the play test. He planned to cause deaths in the game to be real world deaths also. This is one life and hard mode he thought to himself. The CEO of the company has passed him up for one to many promotions.

Among the play testers one of em was just a bit of a troll. He planned on trolling the other players and getting weapons and just killing whoever he pleased.

Town Roles

Sandy Brown- CEO of the game Can kill one person during any phase 1x per game

Brad York- Plays as a police officer in the game and will keep an eye on player a night to get the information of what there role is in the game

Gary Popin- Also plays police officer and will get information on the investigations that brad does.

Denice Howell- Plays the medic in the game and will heal 1 person a night can not heal same person 2 nights in a row.

Ice Vic- Will either take other for the doc or police if both police die before the doc.

Rory Tour- Town role blocker will distract 1 player each night. Can’t block same person 2 nights in a row.

Neutral roles
Diego Sanchez- Computer hacker who doesn’t like the games this developer puts out. Investigation immune and night killed immune can kill 1 person a night. (If Sandy Brown or Todd Simpson is dead can kill 2 a night

Travis scott- Angry person ,but is horrible at finding weapons in the game. Investigation immune can investigate one person a night. Can kill 1 person starting on night 4. (not night killed immune)

James Woods- Doesn’t start out as mob ,but will join them if investigated. If investigated by town will join them first and will no longer be able to recruited by the mob.

The Mob
Todd Simpson- Developer and godfather of the little crime gang he put together. Each night he can put in one kill. (Investigation immune night kill immune)

The players the developer recruited

Trey Thomas- Chose to be a cop his main duties involve staking out other players to figure out what there role is. (1 investigation each night)

Silvia Ortiz- She is the Roleblocker master of distraction. Each night she will distract a player from doing their nightly role. ( can’t block same person 2 nights in a row)

Gina Davis- Have a 1 time day kill.

Harry Greenstone- Backup to either the mob cop or RB will replace which ever dies first

Carl Davis- The husband to Gina (if Gina kill is used on a named townie then he gets a kill the next night)

The Rules

Your objective is to eliminate your opposing faction and save the game or destroy the game.

Townies will win if they kill all of developers mob members including gf and the Serial Killers

DMM are allowed 1 kill each night; they win if they kill all other beta testers, CEO and the Serial Killer.

Serial Killer is allowed 1 kill each night; they win if they kill everyone else and are the sole survivor

Each day phase, every beta tester must vote for whoever they think should be lynched; this person will die and no longer be a part of the game. A vote only counts if you state “vote PLAYERNAME” or “voting PLAYERNAME” in your post. Saying somebodies name without the specification that you are voting them will NOT count as a valid vote.

In the event of a tie in the number of votes at the end of day phase, there will be no added time. All players in with a tied vote will be lynched.

You cannot miss two votes in a row; should this happen, you will be immediately removed from the game, and lynch will still commence based on voting.

The voting deadline is just that, a deadline. Day phase will finish at 0100 GMT, this means that if you vote at 01:00:01 GMT your vote will be excluded. This is irrelevant of whether the game moderators have posted that voting is closed. Night Phase Will end at 1300 GMT.
You are NOT allowed to make public the message sent you by the game moderators to tell you your role or any investigations, either entirely or in part; should this happen you will be removed from the present game and possibly future editions as well. You can share what your information means, but you cannot share exact text. No copying text from admins. You may inform someone that you have investigated them and what their role is. Just no copy/pasting.
Once you’re dead, you’re dead. Do not talk about the game to still active players, or post in the forum thread. This will be considered an act of influence upon the remaining players, and will get you banned from future games. We all like to have fun, and play by the rules, so please keep that in mind.
There should be no reason that a dead player is having any conversation with live players in regards to the ongoing Mafia game. If it is found out that you are, you will be banned from the next game that you sign up for.
When the game has 4 or less players alive, all players MUST participate in the lynch phase by voting. If a player fails to vote, that player will be the one lynched. You must be willing to make your decision and live/die with it.

DO NOT POST SCREEN SHOTS! If I feel that a screenshot posted has an effect on the game, I will kill you from the game. The idea is to leave ambiguity for people to question whether you are telling truths or lies. If you are posting screen shots, that gets much more difficult.

The Beta testers were of all different skill levels ,but one player was the real noob of the bunch. Diego watched this tester try on all different outfits nearly killed him right there when he put the lace bra and panties on. He settled on a pink Suit and then took 10 minutes to figure out how to open the door to leave the clothing shop. Diego watched him walk into walls over and over again, he nearly died on his own from not drinking water in the game.

This beta tester just wasn’t having a good time with the controls at all. He would try to jump and fall down. He got beat up by the strippers at the strip club ,but the noob just continued to visit the surroundings of the vest newlife World.
Melvin was approached by diego and asked if he could juggle and melvin thinking to himself said why not in this world i can do anything. Diego handed him 2 grenades and told him he would throw the other one to him. Melvin stood there and Diego pulled the pin and threw the 3rd one at melvin who was so glad he caught it… Head went flying behind where he stood. Legs and arms split off and blood everywhere. Melvin screamed I can’t feel my arms and legs heart beats increased and the trauma killed him in the real world.

Beta testers were still getting used to all the different things you could do in the world. The Developer Mob team or DMT for short was plotting against one of the testers. Everyone had their own reasons for joining the DMT and for most it was the financial gain promised to them. The DMT wasn’t fully informed about the killings actually killing the players in real life. “I am just playing this because my wife wanted me to good bonding time she said” he thought to himself.

He walked into the amusement park area looking for a certain player.

Meanwhile Daylight was riding all the rides and playing the carnival games having a gay old time. He wondered where the other players were ,but understood in such an exclusive beta test there wouldn’t be that many around. The map was huge the world was immersive reminded him of his World of warcraft days of his youth. He wasn’t being dumb though he picked up items as he could find em and his best weapon was a small knife. He decided to get some beers and started to drink away until he was startled by a man with a baseball bat behind him. He quicky stood to his feet and pulled out his knife. " we gonna do this he asked"

Obviously a bit intoxicated by the alcohol his knife swings were not very accurate and after he missed one more time. He took a baseball bat to the rib cage. He started grabbing his side with one hand still trying to wave the knife in the other. A few more blows and down he went The DMT member continued beating him in the head and then tea bagged him.

At the house of Daylight his mom shouted for him and she showed up in his room seeing him lifeless eyes open. Daylight was a vegetable and would never be awoke again.

In the Town square the 22 members gathered as some thought they were waiting on the other 2 beta testers. They decided to continue without them they thought it was a weird competition to be the last survivor ,but the prize money made it all worth it. They knew they rules and were going to uphold them.

It is now daytime.

The beta testers gathered to an area that is called the pit. They sent the leading vote getter to go down first after a few flights of stairs they shut the door behind him. Rory was in a big open area ,but surrounded by walls and no way of escape. The other players watched from above as Rory tried to fight off the various beasts that came at him. He couldn’t fight them off forever and eventually got torn to shreds.

Diego had his sights on someone and decided a sniper shot from the top of the ferris wheel was the way he would accomplish his mission tonight. He had his target lined up and he was about to pull the trigger ,but meanwhile. At the bottom of the ferris wheel the npc operator was knocked out and someone put the ferris wheel in reverse and in high speeds. Diego takes the shot and misses. Diego will have to wait for another night to attempt to kill again.

Ice Vic was walking down the red light distract with the NPC Sex girls lining the windows ,but Ice Vic hasn’t made any in game currency so couldn’t afford any of them. Carl Davis been watching him for sometime tonight and added metal barbs to his baseball bat. Ice Vic stood outside one of the windows and dropped his pants this is when Mr. Davis went after him. Ice Vic didn’t put up much of a fight. He never logged off and lived alone so that body is gonna rot for awhile.

Sunstorm was supposed to go down into the pit ,but decided to make a run for it instead. He jumped into his car that he stole nearby and started speeding down the streets. A few of the other beta testers also had cars so followed him. He was driving at very high speeds the scene was beautiful water on one side while being on a curvy road. The road was on a mountainside and kept going up and up Sunstorm almost lost control ,but kept the car on the road. He turned his head to give the middle finger to those behind him ,but when he looked back at the road he slammed his brakes causing him to spin. His car went off the side of the side of the mountain hitting the side of the cliff face and exploding before it hit the water.

Sandy Brown heard about players not respawning after death and assumed it was a bug or some hacker. He decided to log in and kill HydroP thinking he was behind all this. He spawned himself some cool weapons including a rocket launcher. Not only did he shoot the player up ,but then he blew up his body afterwards. Little did Sandy Brown know that there was no need to kick him from the server afterwards because HydroP just a beta tester died in both worlds.

James Woods was easily influenced and would join anyone that approached him. He was quite lonely and saw the game as a way to make friends. He walked up to Diego and asked if they could be friends and diego offered him some drugs which he took in game. The high felt so life like he was sorta stuck in a daze not knowing what his actions were. Diego took him to the shooting range and he kept walking by the targets. Diego shot his arm’s and legs then a few to his skull.

Player1 was wondering around the mall shopping for the best outfits he could find. Player1 wanted to look cool and that is what was important to him. He got a nice black buttoned down shirt with a pair of fancy jeans. Player1 knew he was looking fine as hell. He sat down in the empty food court surrounded by the NPCS that were working each station. So he thought because he wasn’t alone at all. The same DMT member came out of what seemed to be no where this time with his trusty bat that he used to knock player1 out with. He then doused him with gasoline and set him on fire.

Diego had quite a few weapons on him and decided he wouldn’t go down without a fight , but before he could do any serious damage to any of the other beta testers. He was subdued and tied up to a chair the tester’s took a grenade and stuffed it in his mouth tied a string around the pin. Taped his mouth shut and pulled the string.

Harry Greenstone finally was called to action and he found some interesting toys along his way in this world. Was watching a beta tester in the casino playing craps he rolled 7 twice in a row before harry approached him with an interesting offer. Room 433 he said and the beta tester was excited to take Harry up on the offer. Harry went to the room and waited “knock” “knock” knock" Harry goes to the door and opens it up " come on in he said make yourself comfortable" Undeath took off his shirt and laid on the bed.

Harry removed his and laid down next to him, and pulled out a pair of handcuffs he blinked a few times Undeath smiled and reached out his arms to the posts. They had rough sex for hours and before harry left the room He said thankyou and slit the throat of Undeath.

Gary Popin was hanging out at the station hoping for someone to need his help. He grabbed the AR and was pacing across the front of the station. All of a sudden Gina Davis was in front of him Gary lowered his weapon as he asked her what she needed. “Hey can you help me” she said “yeh of course I can that is what i am here for” “What would i do without such a manly and handsome man” she said

Gary started blushing and put his gun down as he was leaning over the counter starting to flirt back with Gina. Gina continued to flirt back lowering the guard of Officer Popin. He leaned in to kiss her eyes shut Gina reached in her purse and pulled out a smaller gun angling it up towards his throat as they kiss. When the kiss ended two shots in his face and Gary was no more.

Masse logged into the server and went to the normal meeting grounds to vote out a player for a chance to win the prize money. He seemed to be standing still though like he was AFK ,but he was still in game. He was just standing their with binoculars over his eyes staring off in the distance unresponsive to what was going on around him. What was he looking at? what was so much more important then this meeting? Masse then got beat down by the other players feeling the pain in real life ,but still lifeless just as he was AFK during the voting.

Sandy Brown was wondering why his players wasn’t respawning so she asked Silvia Ortiz for a weapon. Silvia was slow at first ,but gave her one of her 2 guns. Pointing the one she had at her the whole time Sandy decided the best way was just to shoot herself and see if she fixed the bug so she thought. Boom Sandy Brown was lifeless and Silvia didn’t even have to pull the trigger.

Brad York was hanging out at the local stripclub when Carl Davis was also there. Brad York was describing one of the dancers he seen the other night to one of the Npc’s trying to make a special request. A red head with very well endowed chest and dance moves that were unreal. Carl knew Brad was describing his wife and he didn’t even know she danced here one night. Yeh it is just in the virtual world ,but still dam that is my wife. Carl was pissed off and started swing at brad York who may have had one to many to drink at this point. They had a crazy brawl inside the bar and when brad reached for his gun Carl was able to take it away from him and finish him off inside the strip club.

The next morning everyone gathered at the pit where Denice Howell was the one voted for the mob tied him up and forced Torqez, and TBO to go in the pit. The dropped some weapons down there and told them the winner could win. TBO killed Torqez ,but was pretty beat up and could barely move at the end of it all. They pushed Nai into the pit while pulling a lever and unleashed 2 lions that finished up both of them
