What about some sort of spell that undoes a sab or cpff once the portal is down. Not sure if it’s better as an op or spell, but could provide strategy against mass cpff or sabs. Make it medium difficulty. Highest successes being from someone within say 35% nw. That way mass jumped attackers have to have an opper within 35% of their nw instead of massive attacker and tony opper to save them. Requires family cooperation to pull it off. Obviously open to tweaks but could be good for strategy. Would make doing mass cpff that much more strategic.
There is already a good strategy against mass cpff or sabs… build sufficient wiz and agents simple.
Not when there are paxes building 200-300k wiz with 70% magic.
So we don’t need to create another spell just need the difficulty of OH to go up a little. You can say that a about anything, do we need an attack op to defend against the 80% wardancer. If you hate the pax so much become one you have 1 evo per round you can switch to pax for defence… Another thing our pax has 300k wiz and he couldnt OH everybody, and when you fail with that many you lose 15k a time which hurts.
I think the overarching issue here is that Partaxian and some of the spells needs to be nerfed.
It’s not a sustainable way to play the game anymore if the only decent defence for bankers is to… just be a pax as well; but even then, it’s also inconcievable for bankers to build the required number of Wiz to protect against a Pax whilst also having your own pax to build crazy numbers of wiz for.
IMO, stackable OHs need to be gotten rid of. Even a custom race banker with +30% Magic has no chance against a 70% magic pax, it’s a losing battle every time. It’s the same with an attacker jumping; just to have all their portals sabbed or FF’d by a large pax with 70% magic.
So I just think the playing field should be levelled a little - whether its through Nerfing Pax or providing a strategic way of defending against it that’s not just… build more wiz - possibly introducing Magic as a researchable thing?
I quite like the magic research idea, but yeah when you compare spells to operations its hardly worth getting loads of agents as it is just so difficult to do ops compared to spells.
