Sirius Round 6 Set Up Suggestions?

Hello everyone!

I want to set up new round of Sirius Galaxy but I am aware that there were issues with Sirius Round 5. I’d like to hear ideas and feedback from you all. Any suggestions for set up would be great!!!

Bigger Map? More planets per systems? Bigger family? Smaller families? Normal Map or Custom Map?

What do you want for Sirius Round 6?

Maybe figure out how many people you can get to join before setting it up? No point in “Choosing” settings when no one is playing…

make it a training galaxy with low morale and open for joining when pie sends out his next newsletter?

Starting another sirous atm, BAD IDEA. we were barely able to fill up Ultiamte. With MW going and Ultimate maybe hold back on other galaxies a bit? MW should be ending soon, and with not filled up galaxies we get shitty rounds.

This is why there is no poll for you to choose settings. I want to see who want to play and i want to hear what you have to say. I am hesitating to set up new round. I think good possibility is to put it on hold and wait.

I agree with you. I definitely dont want to create another bad round.

Anyone else want to say?

Just work up the player count, start with 4 man FFA on your map with 1 planet per system. If it’s full make next round 4 two man teams 2-3 planets per system. etc.

I like the map and idea behind sirius but the last 2 rounds have been dominated by 1 fam whihc ruined the round and stopped any interaction.

Half hour or even 1 hours ticks (less planets per system) may be more beneficial as 15 min ticks just reward whoever is the most active and leads to the 1 sided rounds we have seen in Sirius and even Terra last round.

I would suggest getting people interested before round starts and maybe have it as a full draft roudn but only like 4-5 people per fam.

Only open it up when you know you have enough fams to make it worthwhile

I like the training galaxy idea. Make it with no end date, and see who comes in over time. Differentiate it in some way from Manthano, though, so players can train in a different way than what’s already being done.
