Perhaps this would mean more money for Pie, however, what about a practice Gal opens so people can practice SOR strats inbtw rounds, or during rounds to try out new things.

I would prefer that you decide when ticks occur, so the ticks can be updated manually
I have no ambition to become your tick master
What I mean is,
Let the player using the program control the ticks, would allow for more trials 
Manual ticking isn’t supported, but practice galaxies are otherwise possible on our dev server. Patron Fighters can get test galaxies set up on demand that tick every minute.
