Update

Right, so there wheels have been turning on this, and Pie will be doing some additional developing for us to make this happen.

At this stage, what we have decided is to make this a Full Draft round! Keep in mind, this is just Round 1 of this format, and it’s mainly for testing and seeing how things go. If it goes well, and we get some good feedback, we can consider tweaking or doing it again in future!

Leaders and Teams

Right now, we are thinking of 8 Teams of 5 members each. We have about 40 interested from the sign-up thread, and maybe more may consider going forward. If we get more than 40 eventually, we will open up the galaxy for randoms, before round start.

Right now, I need volunteers from 8 people who are potentially interested in leading. Please PM me on Discord, or send me a Forum Msg. You can also start approaching your potential teammembers and submit to me a list. Please look at who has signed up in the thread, and maybe even ask others if they’d like to join :slight_smile:

Keep in mind, this is something we are trialing out, but should be a good fun round :slight_smile:

Start considering who you may want in your team and let me know.

Pie has accelerated what he needed to do (thx!), so now just what’s left is sorting out the teams.

If we don’t have enough volunteers or teams, we’ll likely place those who are keen to play with their friends, and then make the rest of the galaxy random.

Lets keep in mind this is very much a trial round.

Firstly, you can join us on discord in our team-ss channel.

Then to sign up, you can:

  1. Let people know you are available to join a drafted team (this post of yours covers it :p)
  2. Random into the galaxy once it opens up. Likely we will have drafted fams, as well as open up for randoms.

The intention right now, is that if you do not find a team, we’ll still open up the galaxy for randoms.

After all, it’s still SS play for your own empire.

Right, we about ready to go! Galaxy will be created soon, with Start time TBD.

Current teams are as follows:

@Leaders. You will be placed in your fams. Then you must chain draft (i.e. draft player 2, then they draft 3, etc). PM me when your whole team is in.

Then, the galaxy will be open for randoms :slight_smile:
