  • 3-4 man fams
  • unlimited expos
  • 6-8 week round
  • classic races only

I want to revise this. No more unlimited eships, but some other concept. Maybe family limited, not empire limited. So if you have a player less, that’s compensated by the fam limit.

you could keep unlimited e-ships… and add that exploration rule from infinitum… that you can only explore 1 planet in a system… for MW you could change it in a way that you can fill the system when you own x% of the system…

i think if ur going to do unlimted just make map alot bigger… it was just too small for that

Bigger map just exacerbates the issue. If the gal was 50% bigger I would have done one more round of exploring/infra and then done a big wave of 800 explores instead of 500. I am super happy pie is okay with shaking things up and making people try new things, but I agree that this explore limit probably gives too much of an advantage to fams with better starting eco strategies. The newness of it all is exciting and fun.

I really do think we should play out a few more weeks of this round before drawing any conclusions though. It is absolutely a competitive round so far among at least a few families.

Yes because exploring 500p worked out so well for fam 68 lol

I think the issue this round was nobody put thought into planning with the new rules. If no family naped or allied then exploring 500p would be very silly.

I really dont mind the new rules and think it almost forces more fams into conflict.
Main issue will be if your not the most active at bor then your very very behind.

This change will needs lots of tweeking but i wouldnt toss out the idea just yet

Expanding the cap of eship might work, and vastly bjggger gal with the infintum type system exping would be pretty good but to just pop off to unlimited like that, things are just out of balance as far as speed of the game,

Perhaps having unlimited for first 48 ticks unlimited then reverting to capped but even vastly larger gal might be a good thing

Also subtracting time for infra in this phase and shortening time,

Some numbers for capped time could be 12 per day or 16 per day or 24 for numbers sake

I think a slight look in to how ecteoverses portals worked and how they covered a certain percentage and the whole expaneded cost is kinda good as well, will promote more attacking.
