MW 35% attacking rule selectively not working

|T-213|Defense Report|Our planet 11 at x:70, y:37 was attacked by Wowbagger of family 7128. When we first spotted the overwhelming enemy force approaching we already suspected defeat and managed to prepare a nuclear blast which made the planet uninhabitable when we left.
At least we didn’t lose a single unit.

I was and still am under 35% of his NW.
Just explored those planets a few ticks before.
I have not attacked/opped anyone outside my own family.
We are not at war with them or anything.
Ordos in my family tried to attack someone under 35% and was unable to.

In conclusion something is fucky with the 35% rule :stuck_out_tongue:

War declare?
Could it be that you hit (ops / retake) him recently and 35% is not helping you if you did? Kinda like protection mode?

I really didn’t read the gala rules this round, is 35% even in?

No war declare
I was at one planet like 3 ticks before. My only 2 attacks have been on my own fam. The only op I have used this round is space amazement.

I asked Pie before making this thread if 35% rule was indeed in MW and he confirmed it was :wink:

I honestly thought nothing of my planets being blown up until my own family couldn’t attack someone under 35%…Not quite fair
