Yeah that sucks, don’t know what he did with resources, he received much more than was ever sent out and his growth rate didn’t seem unusual.

If he has 7 multi accounts Etc… around 3.5 mil gc extra… is it fair to say 70 got a significant advantage from his gc? He always stayed kinda small but the family kept growing.
I’m not trying to get anyone blocked here. But if a player is aiding 1 mil as opose to 500k sor. Is it fair to say the leader or whoever should ask where it’s from? That’s just an example but 3.5 mil gc extra should have been questioned.
I guess my question is, doesn’t 70 get a significant boost compared to the other families?

That’s a fair question @HellRaizeR.
I wouldn’t assume though that his lack of growth means that 70 benefited from specific funds. The market activity was obvious enough to indicate illegal trades but may not actually have been invested well or aided out with any specific plan.
Even if a recipient did receive large sums, they also may not know econ (or the game) well enough to realize anything unusual,
It is possible that 70 benefited indirectly, but they will also be penalized as they likely invested back into him as well, which hurts a family any time one of their players gets blocked.
He didn’t aid out any significant amounts if he did would have noticed and reported him

So basically, if someone get “friend” to cheat for them, boost family with resources and let 1 player get blocked. yea fam can benefit from it, alot

Also u said other multis which traded moslty with him? so there are actullay others who did benefit from those multi account? what a shame
A player makes lets say 10 multies, the passes 70% res to one of his multies, and actually pass 30% to his main account, which will be hard to prove?
Now cheaters can get smarter everyround, in couple of rouds, no one will catch them anymore, if u dont believe me, let me prove it offically by doing so…

@Tezcatlipoca yep, lots of things can get by. There will always be cheaters, but we can and should be smarter than them. That’s why it’s so important to get your thoughts into #support:ideas, so that the @moderators can help me prioritize changes to help.
A discussion here is nice, but a discussion in #support:ideas is more likely to make a difference.
By this I meant that the general market was contaminated by their presence. The other people who did benefit from the multis are other regular players who just wanted to use the market and happened to run into the poisoned bids. If we ban those people, it means we are likely banning everybody.

@OrBit I’ve spent about 12 hours total across 2 days looking over everybody’s empires, including yours. 
Literally everybody in MW67.
In order to be blocked, players have to meet an extremely high burden of proof. We’re not out to ban anybody who looks a bit suspicious. I would rather let a cheater go than block an innocent player.
You’re welcome to report further violations if you want, but we need more to go off of than things just not adding up. If you have some specifics you’d like me to look into, feel free to PM me directly.

When there was IA round in SN, we all sold stuff from market, if u aid your friend, u DO NOT sell your res to random people 
it is so easy not to
everyone who played IA SN round can prove it
u dont sell stuff to random people, not even a single time we did it
like i said, it could have been their plan to get 10-20% of those multi res
so why do u think cheater will sell his res to random people if he needs them?

Yes, having the actual data from the investigation is fairly critical to determining the conclusion. 
You’re correct in general, but it’s hardly a certainty. In this case, what I’ve found doesn’t make me “totally wrong” or show why I don’t play enough. It shows that the person who cheated interacted with more than just his alt accounts.
Why? I have no idea. My concern isn’t why they’re also trading with regular players. My concern is meeting the burden of proof needed to get them out.
Fwiw, I did also look at the players they traded with. That’s why started me looking at everybody, and analyzing the trading stats per-empire. Trust me, this was not just a light skimming.
Question remains for me, how big bids were sold to random players? How many tick income was that the certain time?
How long those bids were up, before those got sold?
And once again, everyone who played IA SN round, knows, u dont simply sell res to random people(unless u want to make it look like it) If he sold 100-200 fine, but if its like starting res amount, its too fishy
