With no forums you must join chat… how are you supposed to be in the loop about naps, cores, etc? Hard to compete against 7 man teams with a 5 man team and two leaches eating up all the resource bonus planets only to sell that res on the market… we have an SS galaxy already… why join a team galaxy just to play on your own?

I’ll respond one more time. Like I did in your in game mess at the start of the round to pass some aid and never got none back . I was there at any time for the family. And I proved it by responding to your mess about defence. But you being a low moral player. You used my mess to clear me to get a player like your self .like I said all you would have had to do is ask and I would have passed all my plants and left. Sometimes Carma comes back to bite you when you do the dishonorable thing . when your like that you turn players two self-sufficient players
If I’m reading things correctly, he was not provided with am opportunity to work things out with his leader. In fact it seems like he was in communication with Pickle, only Pickle used that communication to stab him in the back instead of working with him. I’m not sure if this is a new player, a multi, or what, but joining a galaxy only to be told “we don’t want you go play somewhere else” isn’t a good experience for a new user. Are we focusing on new features before we worry about new player retention?
He told us he would join chat several times … never did… kept giving lame excuses, and the worst was he couldn’t download the app because it took up too much memory on his phone… and wouldn’t tell me who he was. For all I knew he was a multi spy. But turns out he was RICKING who always plays SS.
And if you have been paying attention to anything Pie has been saying since he took control of the game, he is focused on the future of IC, even if that pisses off some of the current players.
And Undeath, stop acting like you are focused on growing the game… players playing with no honor and breaking naps is a main contributor to people quitting.
Chat shouldn’t be a requirement for the game, you do make a good point though…when will the forums be back? Not having forums would make it difficult to keep track of important info.
I’m very concerned with growing the game, but I’m not concerned with the old players. I suggested to pie when he first bought the game that he create a “classic” galaxy for vets that don’t like change to play in and leave it alone so that he could focus on building something that will bring in a new group. The IC we grew up loving isn’t sustainable, we’re not the ones that need to be focused on. Feel free to look back, but I’ve always been outspoken when it comes to how we treat new players. Our community is only friendly to new folks that will conform, and that does not a fun game make.

As for SS players, they have always been looked as the vagrants of IC!
The none conformist, the rouges, those that need to be destroyed, wasting space within the family. Yet in all honesty they are really a blessing if you work with them. They have resources and gc when the bank is off line and are normally willing to give to those that need it. The are one less mouth to feed, and that can go into infra or fleet.
After all a good/great leader works with what he has, maximizes ppl’s potential, and personality to work with in a good/great game
The rouge tag was meant to be use on those that defied the family by continues attacking stronger family’s in hope of war, works with another family spying for them, not for some comformist attitude of other players/leaders

What’s wrong with new players or players who do not want to play teams play in SN? I understand that previously SS needed to be tolerated because there were only team galaxies and players who just want to do their own thing should be allowed to play… but now we have a solo galaxy constantly running. Makes no sense now to play SS in MW…
If you want to play solo, join the solo galaxy…
If you want to play teams, join the team galaxy…
Seems like common sense to me.
As long as you join at the right time! If a new player joins and sees that Milky Way just opened but Supernova is about to end, they’re probably going to join Milky Way. In the age of 2 second attention spans, if they get a poor welcome in their first IC experience they’re probably not going to stick around.

As long as you get to decide what a team is, and what race players must play.
When they get to expo, what they need to build, etc. Etc.
Bring back something like Virgo, that would be a must for new accounts. Make a complete guide which is based on all the stuff that is happening in the game now (not only what building is doing what but also politics, trends in the game and so on). Make it mandatory and new players will b in the loop

Ricking … if you want to play solo, join a solo galaxy… if there were unlimited slots I wouldn’t mind having an SSer, but with a hard cap of 7, you are just being selfish by taking up a spot in a team galaxy. It was a family decision, not mine.
