DD’s was a bug in the first days of VIPs (like day 2 after the tag existed).
No one’s looked like his.
The vip flag was under you pic or right by it.
DD’s was in his name - like he typed it but it looked like the real tag.
So hot.

Same here with being a broke kid before. I could only look longingly over at all the people in Draco and dream about what it would be like to play there.

Draco 1 was one of the best rounds in the history of the game.
100 of the best players of all time, ran a zillon miles an hour on dialup, tick flips took 5 seconds.
The gods were still playing and people we call gods now were mean and fresh.
Only two all time best that didn’t play were Malo and Umbri.
However in their stead - Impire and 'lil 'ole darrky teamed up as a fair approximation of those two titans for a good bit of the round.

@Darrk Brutal AND Brief. I think I had one kill in the first five days and was dead myself before the round was even two weeks old.

@Darrk There were families? I thought that was the first solo galaxy. Or maybe it wasn’t and my family just sucked and died too quickly to bother memorializing them.

@Terror_of_the_Night Lol yes, there were families, but attacks started waaaay earlier than they had ever before. It used to be 'highly dishonorable" to attack during explo (see the player “mung” it’s all he ever did) in that gala - you had to fighting like we do now, or you fam would get killed out.

@Darrk Oh yeah. I had forgotten all about that. Yes, it was fun to play as an uncivilized savage in Draco for a short while. Etiquette within Milky Way was much more complicated back in those days.
