I’m his sister, his older sister to be precise, so if I’m endorsing him that is saying something. How many older sisters do you know who would vouch for their younger brothers being a good teacher? Or be willing to allow their younger brothers to instruct them on anything?
Also I’d like to point out that the level of vitriol against certain players spilling over onto their friends/family in the game is kindof sad. My standing up for him makes me someone others feel like they can put down and target insults at because you dislike him so very much? Tsk tsk. You should be ashamed. Very true, and worth noting that this whole discussion broke out because of a snide remark against @HydroP by 2 players, while HydroP was making an effort to be helpful to a new player on their way out.
It doesn’t leave a great impression, and I wouldn’t be surprised if new players leave specifically because that kind of thing.
It is possible to critique another player without insulting them.

I’ve claimed that since my 2nd round I ever played as The Playmates and beat the crap out of that whole galaxy by myself.
I didn’t even need my fam, I just let them tag along for the ride and they were able to get a victory next to their name 100% because of my awesomeness.
But also unlike hydro I’m not going to do a you tube video of how I am so awesome in this game because all you lesser beings couldn’t grasp such awesome knowledge anyway.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement. The last several times I returned from a self-imposed retirement, I randomed into the galaxy and then started helping and educated whomever I was fortunate enough to land into as a family.

I haven’t played with hydroP so I cannot say if he is a good teacher or not (not much he could teach me anyways unless I’m attacking)…but my dawg is a good leader! Good leaders should be able to teach…so I won’t beat down on him because you guys don’t like him or his style of play. We should all be able to respect everyone’s individualality and individual style of play whether we like it or not…
EX: I didn’t like Darrks or WS style of play this round, but I still respect and like them…

All I’m saying is, can we all act like actual adults and not some highschool rival clicks who has this ongoing rivalry. You don’t like soemone you don’t like someone…y’all don’t have to jump on peoples post and start bickering like…it leaves a bad taste.
Combination of both I suppose. I’ve had many fun rounds playing with random lower-to-middle ranked families. Teaching others is a duty that I was bequeathed by some of the Beta Round legends. It is not a responsibility that I have ever considered shirking.
Plus, since the Harkonnens disbanded for the final time, I’ve had no desire to be recruited by a top family nor to play solely for EOR rank. Journeying into the unknown with each return to the game has been a far more fascinating experience.
