Indeed that doesn’t surprise me at all. Pie is always looking for ways to improve this game.
That being said my point still stands that the people who want to use underhand tactics will find a way around it or find another way.
It will just always be there and so will the people.
This has been brought up so many times over the years. A NAP itself is basically an illegal action. Used to be frowned upon. They need to be removed from the game entirely and something new brought in. What that could entail though I do not know.
Problem with ingame naps are several. One being the enemy family instead of just breaking the nap. Can violate the nap instead in several ways. Main one being shares in core systems.
Naps just bring so many loopholes and problems just remove them and if you fight you fight if you don’t you don’t.
Share wars are great. But if this is what happens all the time then what’s the point.

Read up in other (not so massive threads) I think Relations Page naps are not going to be limited anymore.
Also, Anon play has been removed, forever.
I think a lot of the nonsense in this thread is about scapegoating these changes.
People can always change. How do you think we became civilized? The cognitive revolution didn’t happen by chance.
Anyway, we are still at the same point in this thread. Yes, we broke the NAP and it was a dishonorable move. Though it happened cause of all the BS going on this round, and with the same logic 00 and 03 also broke their NAP. I feel sorry for Ploddy in 94 actually, he seems to be a nice guy and his fam got hammered the most.
So, how do we move on now? We as a community can’t blame it all on Pie. He’s doing his best to reach out to all of us and he is actually the reason this game is alive!
A way to swap planets or surrender them could fix this, as well as a in game core mechanic that prevents the people you are NAP’d to from exploring into your territory and honestly a in game planet swap is long overdue, changing rulers of planets should not require attacking if it is willing.
Yea Pie is doing a great job, he is fair and never picks sides. People like Darrk will accuse him of it but its simply not true… Pie is like a mamma bear and he protects all of his cubs. There is not another person in this community that I would trust this game more with.
