T-97 Exploration We have explored the planet 1 in the 99:55 system.
this is a reserved Planet for a home system. thought id be cheeky and take it. my expo sent but then just came back. still had to pay

Makes sense you still need to pay the launch and fuel on that expo

Ok I actually just sent another expo, and I dont have the planet, wasnt a home planet this time.
I accept that the first one was silly. but this second one should have landed 
This has been fixed. It was a combination of 2 related bugs:
- reserved planets were sometimes marked as explorable
- attempted sends should have shown an error instead of paying and sending the ship
Both are fixed, and #1 should prevent attempted sends from being possible in the first place.
