Domain Name System Blocking, or DNS Blocking / Filtering is a strategy for making it difficult for users to locate specific domains or web sites on the Internet. It was first introduced in 1997 as a means to block spam email from known malicious IP addresses.
DNS blocking can also be applied for outgoing requests as well. Instead of returning the valid IP address of a requested site (for example, instead of 198.35.26.96 being returned by the DNS when "www.wikipedia.org" is entered into a browser...
Sometimes hosting services freaking switch countries because it is 10 cents cheaper a month, might be a good place to check.
Companies that do that to us are like auto tapped to the black list - can’t even get a proper return notice through the f-wall.
It is possible that if @I_like_pie used BCC for sending out the mass emails from IC’s email server, versus using MailChimp or another service, that the IC email address has been marked as spam and blacklisted on some mail service providers.
