I went to build HF. Field said I could build 78. Game returned “insufficient cash.” I did the math. 78 HF * 167 cash per building = 13026 gc. I have 13130 gc.
Are you overbuilding? The cost for overbuilding on a planet calculates the cost of each next building one by one with the next OB added cost. This is the same reason why it isn’t cheaper to OB all at once compared to adding the buildings one by one (except for rounding).
Base cost for farm is 160gc so you’re either going OB or you have a NW penalty.
Nope, not overbuilding. Just regular building.
Whatever the reason, it’s confusing to see the cost on the page only to be told for reasons not given that there is insufficient cash.
The cost shown on the building page is rounded down but the actual cost used is calculated with more accuracy.
90 gc for a farm shown could actually be 90.15 gc.
Ah, ok, I guess this is a feature request then - show the exact amount so “insufficient cash” doesn’t look like a lie.
