The funny thing is that we’ve been calling Wardancers, Quantum, Partiaxians, etc. Races since Day One, however, that is technically incorrect as I do not believe they all evolved from Earth ancestors.

but “races” is a term for humans not earth ancestors. There were many types of humanoids and modern humans are normally not fully “human”
I maybe wrong but i believe scientist now think the only true “humans” left are a small tribe in africa and maybe the north sentinel island

I mean, if you want to get all technical about it. Is there any lore or information on this? They could very well be species derived from a common ancestor.
I would think likely not though. Species would probably be more correct but you know,
