I have a couple of carniola hives in simplex nucs, in Europe. It’s May, means swarm management and placing the honey boxes on top.

Not me, but my dad has 8 hives. So… I get regular updates from him.
I was devastated when I did some research a few years back when he started - the treatment of the drones by workers in autumn/fall. They need a union.
