I have just returned from a long break, >7 years. I remember getting organised with 3rd party tools to compare plists etc. What is the status quo these days?

Map gen no longer works … the new map gives you most of what you need. But if you want to create a list from the map, the only option is to go to tools>old map> highlight the fam you want a list of> click create list> click add marked systems> save list. Then once your list is saved you click on the little piece of paper 
to get the list. Kind of a pain in the ass.
Ahh ok, no more map gen tool, bummer ><
