How do cores work?
Looking for some help from others to explain cores in an easy to understand way.
Our existing guide/faq/wiki are lacking on this topic, and explaining it from the code is not useful to the average player.

I know once system comes fully explored by same family, after being that for 72 hours, it becomes a core systems.
-Attacking core system will cost u double morale.
Can anyone tell how core system gets destroyed exactly?

The implementation of Cores into the game code happened during one of my retirements into the Cosmic Void. I didn’t even know that Cores were automatic and created a morale disadvantage for attackers.
